Does your product have the option for Personalisation?

Personalisation is applied as a filter within the product listing and your product description needs to explain what the customer can have for personalisation and how to give you (the maker) this information through the Add an Order comment function.

How to apply Personalisation filter

Within your product listing go to the Refine your Product Listing panel where all the filters are shown that you can apply.

This will show in the filters on the front end of the website allowing the customer to filter to those listings that offer personalisation if that is want they require.

Clear instructions are required in your product description

The maker needs to provide clear instructions on what the customer is required to give you in order to personalise that particular product. Those requirements may vary between products.

An example of what you can add to your product description is:

*PERSONALISATION - please use 'Add an Order comment' when ordering your product.

Required information for personalisation of product is [name] [message] [print] 

Where is the comment visible for the maker?

When a customer orders your product and has provided information regarding any personalisation or extra information it will be shown within the order for that product under Custom Print Message.

If you need to contact the customer regarding this order you can use the Raise Query function as shown below.
