Ask a Question


Your customer has the ability to Ask A Question from the product listing page & from your maker store page. They must be a registered logged in customer to have this functionality.

Within the product listing page at the bottom there is a box with Ask a Question

When the gold button is clicked the screen opens for the customer to enter a Title & Description for their enquiry. They will need to enter the Captcha code which helps to protect us from spam emails.

The customer can upload a file if this is required by you. Then they simply select Submit.

You as the maker will receive an email notification to say you have an enquiry. You can click on the link in the email or go to your product menu and select Ask a question.

The customer will find their response to you in their account screen under View Your Queries in their account menu options.


Makers Store Page

The customer can make direct contact with a maker via their store page. Using the Ask a question under the Profile pic and name.

The maker will receive an email notification that you have a query through your store. You can select the Answer button in the email or go to the Profile - customer enquiries option in your Madeit account.

From the list of enquiries select the pending enquiry and respond to the customer. The customer will receive an email notification of a response.

The customer can respond again so you have all the details within this enquiry.

Once the enquiry is finalised you can come back and select Close Query.


The customer finds their enquiries with sellers in their Madeit account under Sellers Query.
