When adding a new product listing you are prompted to select to Track or Don't track inventory.

What if I need to change this once my product is set up?
Don't track inventory
This is best used for Made to order & digital items as the quantity is usually irrelevant. This allows the customer/s to purchase repeatedly and as much as required.
Quantity will show as N/A
Track this product's inventory
This is used for quantity specific products. It can range from one of a kind through to a specific quantity available.
At the point of adding a new product select Track this Product's inventory and enter a quantity.
If you have variants you can adjust the quantities per variant at that time.
We would recommend not selecting Allow customers to purchase when its out of stock unless you are sure you can supply the product.
What if I need to change this once my product is set up?
Refer to the Variants area of your product listing and select any of the listings to edit
Go to the inventory details in the variant area and change to Track this products inventory and enter a quantity and Save.
Remember to SAVE CHANGES at the bottom of that screen.
