Turn on holiday mode


Taking a break? Or perhaps your store is not quite ready to go live?


You are able to configure your store to be in holiday mode.

While on holiday mode you can either choose to;

  • continue selling or
  • disable your products so you are not able to sell anything during your nominated holiday period.

Continue selling - your products and store will remain visible but a note will show when customers click on your product listings.

Disable your products - your products will be disabled and no longer visible and unable to be viewed or purchased.

Note: Your subscription plan will continue while you are on holiday mode. You can choose to disable products or continue selling. If you continue selling an expected shipping date will show on your products.


Go to Profile and My Account

Go to Maker holiday configuration panel

Select the Enable Holiday Mode button and it will turn green and further information is required before saving.

Enter the start & end date of your holiday mode time.

Select Disable all product or Continue selling

  • Disable all products means your products will not display in your store and cannot be sold
  • Continue selling allows the customer to purchase during this time and a notice will show at the product stage notifying the customer of expected despatch date.

Then select Save.

Once holiday mode is enabled it is scheduled to update - you can view the details of holiday mode in the Maker Holiday Configuration area. Please allow up to 24 hours for this to be enabled.

If you choose Disable all product this means all products are hidden and not able to be purchased.


If you choose Continue Selling a box is available to write a message for customers that they will see when looking at your product descriptions.

We also recommend adding this note to your Store Description.
